The Marvel Cinematic Universe has changed film forever. And at this point MCU fans are just showing off.

Obviously the fact that there are nearly 30 movies (and counting) in the MCU makes for a lot of ground to cover. Not to mention Netflix shows and Disney Plus series.
If anything the wide variety of content just breeds more and more die hard fans.
